Oxford Saïd Giving Day

Impact of giving
Oxford Saïd Giving Day 2019

Oxford Saïd’s Giving Day 2019 was a 36-hour challenge event designed to increase the impact our exceptional organisation can have on the world. Our aim was to make £75,000 from 500 donors in just one day and we could not have done it without you. On Giving Day, generous donors also agreed to match gifts up to £50,000 so each gift had double the impact.

On 27th June we reached out to alumni, students, parents, friends, faculty and staff to support our work. We hand-picked three key areas for support: gender parity, widening participation and a sustainable world.

Giving day

28th June 2018 was the School’s very first giving day.

A total of 300 donors raised a fantastic total of £44,624. This is an incredible achievement that will create direct impact across the School. Our donors came from 41 different countries across the world, which is a wonderful united display by our global community.

We hope you will join us next year and help us raise even more.  #SBSCreateImpact

Class gifts and lifelong legacy

Our students may choose to recognise a memorable event, celebrate the end of their studies or just want to give something back to their community by coming together to make a gift. These types of gifts play a vital role in introducing our students to philanthropy and encourages many to get into the habit of giving throughout their career.
