The 8th annual Doctoral Conference, where presenters, usually PhD students, are offered the opportunity to present their research.
The annual doctoral conference provides a stimulating environment in which young scholars from around the world can discuss their research.
The call for papers for the annual Doctoral Conference, held by the Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 September 2019 is now closed and the programme finalised.
We have received submissions on many topics related to business taxation in its broadest sense, including papers from economics, law, accounting and other disciplines, as well as interdisciplinary contributions.
The conference offers presenters the opportunity to receive feedback in a friendly environment from Michael Devereux, Centre Director; Judith Freedman, Director of Legal Research; Programme Directors and Research Fellows.
There will be a Best Paper Award with a prize of £500.
For those chosen to present their paper, accommodation will be provided and paid for by the organiser for the nights of Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 September.
This year’s Doctoral Conference convenors are Alice Pirlot and Martin Simmler. Please contact Alice or Martin if you have any questions about the academic content of the meeting. If you have any questions regarding the logistics, please contact Pauline Simpson by emailing email@example.com.
We look forward to welcoming you to Oxford.
