Teaching and research
Our research addresses major topics and challenges in business and society.
You can help the School to continue attracting leading experts from around the world by funding new posts in academic areas where we are expanding our teaching and research, such as Real Estate and African Business. Support can take many forms, from endowing existing or new posts to funding researchers and career development fellows.
You can help the School to continue attracting leading experts from around the world by funding new posts in academic areas where we are expanding our teaching and research. We are seeking support for at least five years, which will provide an opportunity for the donor to name the professorship. Alternatively, we would welcome endowed funding that would ensure permanent expertise in these fields.
There has never been a full-time academic appointed to lead real estate teaching and research activities at Oxford. This is a unique opportunity to establish real estate as an area of serious academic enquiry within one of the world’s leading universities.
We are looking to establish a new post for an individual with a passion for teaching, research, and student enrichment, who will set a compelling research and teaching agenda and help the School deepen its professional networks across the continent. The successful candidate will also take a leading role in attracting excellent students from Africa and will help them to develop their skills and experience in the business environment.
Faculty post endowment
Decades after graduation, our alumni continue to remember the dedicated professors who helped them understand a difficult subject or find a path to personal and professional success. Those life-changing conversations continue to take place at Saïd Business School every day as our faculty members share their passion for knowledge and their commitment to our students.
Promote the creation of new knowledge
Transform the future of business research and teaching by endowing faculty posts in either finance or management studies.
Oxford Endowment Challenge Fund
The University has established the Oxford University Endowment Challenge Fund to encourage donors to support existing faculty posts. It will provide matched funding on a 2:1 ratio (£2 from a donor matched by £1 from University funds).
No business school should conduct research or teach current and future leaders without true industry collaboration and partnership.
We offer organisations with unique opportunities to contribute to and work with the exceptional research faculty and students at Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.
